Lycos for Development and Services Co. Ltd is a leading provider of telecom infrastructure, fiber optic networks, power solutions, and integrated safety systems. Since 2010, for more than 15 years, we have specialized in delivering end-to-end solutions, including fiber network operations and maintenance, network installations, and energy management, designed to meet the dynamic needs of telecommunication providers, enterprises, and government sectors.
Headquartered in Khartoum, with workstations across Sudan and an office in the UAE, we combine local expertise with a global vision to deliver reliable, innovative, and efficient services.
Our team of 80+ staff, including fiber technicians and telecom engineers, supports operators around the clock with preventive maintenance and rapid fault restoration.

Our journey
From Khartoum to the region
Founded in 2010 by a team of visionary engineers, Lycos quickly built a reputation for excellence, delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
In 2017, we expanded our operations with 14 fully equipped workshops across all Sudanese states, enhancing our capacity to manage large-scale projects and invest in community development. Today, we operate 24 fully equipped workshops.
More recently, we established new offices in the UAE and initiated development in Saudi Arabia, marking a significant expansion into global markets and reinforcing our commitment to innovation and growth.
In 2025–2026, we established Lycos for Development and Services LLC in Sharjah Media City, UAE; ranked first in QAST’s November 2025 OSP Suppliers Performance Evaluation with a score of 104%; and secured new fiber contracts, including Omdurman city FTTH with Sudatel and fiber O&M for Sudani.
